Between March 30th and April 5th, Zhovten cinema (Kyiv) became a home to a film festival “Austrian Film Week”, supported by the Embassy of the Republic of Austria and the main partner - Amic Energy.

Celebrities and famous cultural figures, including Deputy Minister of Culture of Ukraine Halyna Hryhorenko, Ihor Kondratiuk, Sofiya Yehorova, Oleh Borshchevsky, Yevheniia Kuleba, Tonya Matviienko, Viacheslav Solomka, Liudmyla Pyshna, Iryna Danilevska, Ambassadors of the countries of the European Union and other guests, attended the grand opening and the premiere of Michael Kreihsl's comedy film "Risks and Side Effects" in Ukraine.

National media attended the ceremony as well to deliver a special episode about “Austrian Film Week”.

Once screenings in Kyiv are over, the festival would continue and take place in the following cities:

• from April 27 to April 30 - Chernivtsi, Ivan Mykolaychuck Art Center
• from May 11 to May 14 - Lviv, «Planeta Kino» (Forum Lviv)
• from May 18 to May 24 - Vinnytsia, «Rodina» cinema.
