In the first half of 2024, AMIC ENERGY in Ukraine (AMIC UKRAINE CFI) demonstrated exceptional results of its operations, paying almost UAH 1.2 billion in taxes to the budgets of all levels. In addition to significant contribution to the country's economy, it also demonstrates the company's consistent development and growth.
In particular, UAH 1.19 billion was paid in taxes on imports of petroleum products, while another UAH 174 million were tax liabilities from operating activities. Compared to the same period in 2023, the total amount of taxes paid almost tripled, emphasising the company's development and business growth even during wartime.
It is worth noting that the tax burden on AMIC ENERGY stations in Q2 2024 amounted to UAH 1.97 per liter of fuel sold. This demonstrates
the company's high level of responsibility to the state and society, as each hryvnia paid to the budget of Ukraine means strengthening the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The responsibility and transparency of Ukrainian business is also reflected in the payment of payroll tax, including the mandatory state pension insurance fee, personal income tax, and military fee. Therefore, AMIC UKRAINE paid in 1H2024 UAH 92.15 million, which is 18.7% more than in the first half of 2023. This amounts to UAH 53,326 per employee of AMIC ENERGY.
“Paying taxes is not just fulfilling your obligations to the state. It also goes to financing defensive capabilities, especially in this difficult time,” - said at the press service of AMIC ENERGY. “We are proud that the sustainable development of the company provides consistent support to the Armed Forces of Ukraine to fight the enemy”.
However, AMIC ENERGY's activities in Ukraine are not limited to responsibility and transparency in tax payments alone. The company continues to support the Defence and Security Forces while contributing to various socially important initiatives.
With that in view, in 1H2024, the company provided over UAH 25 million to help the affected territories of Ukraine and support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In particular, defenders were provided with DJI MAVIC 3 drones under MAVIC from AMIC initiative. Moreover, as part of the Invincible Coffee initiative, the respective equipment to shelters and medical facilities in Kherson, Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions was provided too.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, AMIC UKRAINE has provided support to the government and people of Ukraine worth a total of UAH 112 million (as of June 30, 2024).
